Here’s some software on Android I use multiple times a day.
Moon+ Reader – an ebook reader. The ads are annoying, though, so I highly recommend switching to the Pro (ad-free) version for longterm use.
Fairnote – a notes app. Supports basic Markdown notation.
Tasks.org – a to-do list.
AntennaPod – a podcast app. UI can be a bit cluttered but there’s an overwhelming number of customization options in the settings.
Pulsar – music player. Built-in tag editor and playlist editor.
Simple File Manager – vanilla replacement for Google Files’ invasive bullshit. I like the photo gallery and voice recorder apps from this developer, too.
DuckDuckGo Browser – although it’s Chromium-based, I keep it installed for the App Tracking Protection service, which runs locally to block third-party tracking from other apps. (It turns out the offical Tumblr and Discord apps are especially bad.)
